Tempurpedic bed fumes harmful to health?

I heard someone say that the foam base Tempurpedic emanates a vapor that is harmful to your health. Is this true? Emana a smell, but I had some problems with. A plastic cover will help fumes / odor? Coverage plastic deny the benefit of foam base Tempurpedic? Thank you

For long periods of this is normal and completely harmless and have never heard of time.
Tempurpedic mattress have never heard of time.
