Bed Q. Are 2-twin beds equal in size to (1) Queen?

I 'm the who thinks to convince 2 twin bases to push together, bc my husband is heavier and roll all night inside towards him. It might make my back better. We don 't want the bases inflatable. How about TempurPedic?

    Two twin beds equal one King size bed in width but are shorter on length.
